Here we are, savoring another delightful afternoon tea, but this time we're not in London—far from it, in fact. The TripTemptation team has touched down in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and we headed straight to Etihad Towers—the tallest and newest towers in Abu Dhabi—for a special tea ceremony.

The ceremony unfolds at Jumeirah Etihad Towers on the Observation Deck on the 74th floor, soaring 300 meters above the ground.

This vantage point serves as an ideal perch to behold Abu Dhabi's majestic skyline, offering a unique panoramic view of the Persian Gulf and the capital of the UAE.

The moment you step into this space, the view takes your breath away. The expansive windows conjure an indelible sense of freedom and wonder.

There's no singular table with the prime view by the window; here, every table vies for the title of the best seat in the house.

The observation deck boasts a 360-degree view, allowing you to amble around and soak in every facet of the cityscape encircling you.

Once settled, the ceremony commences. Your culinary journey begins with a refreshing cold tea, followed by an assortment of sandwiches. The diverse menu is bound to cater to a myriad of tastes. There’s even a cake shop at your beck and call. We recommend sampling some of the fresh salads and quiches on offer.

And of course, following the main course, a medley of scrumptious desserts awaits, accompanied by a traditional tea selection. We opted for the delectable Oolong tea and Royal Moroccan tea.

Were it not for the panoramic vista, I would have easily mistaken the setting for a cozy and luxurious English restaurant.

Observation Deck at 300, with its arresting views, elegant décor, and renowned high tea, has emerged as one of Abu Dhabi's most sought-after attractions for both tourists and locals.

Should your travels lead you to Abu Dhabi, this is an experience you wouldn't want to miss.
