Here I am, lying on a luxurious bed, experiencing well-being on a whole new level. The award-winning Simmons mattress enveloped me in sleepiness the moment I lay down. I thought of Slovenian slalom champion Tina Maze, who adores the Rosapetra Hotel and always stays in their suite when in Cortina, and smiled at the thought of her luxurious taste. The atmosphere in my room is intimate and cozy, with a refreshing scent of fir trees. It boasts an eco-friendly electrical, heating, and ventilation system, and all the furniture is crafted from real wood.
This wonderful boutique hotel was built from scratch just three years ago, making it even more unique, as it's rare for Cortina d'Ampezzo to grant permission for new developments like this.
Even if you don't usually meditate, this place could inspire you to start; all thanks to an atmosphere imbued with natural, healing luxury. The floors are crafted from stone mined in the local Dolomite caves. Everything looks remarkable and feels like home. But the pièce de résistance is undoubtedly the view of the Dolomites one can relish from the room's terrace, at the restaurant, or in their astounding spa.
The sense of being cared for enveloped me throughout my stay. From the complimentary 'Herbal Touch' spa products kit I discovered in my room, to the special lockers for my ski boots (where they are dried and sanitized), and the silver plates at their amazing restaurant (which serves delicious dishes crafted from local produce), every single detail is orchestrated to maximize comfort and enhance the enjoyment of my stay!
Can you guess where we concluded each day? Indeed, in the spa. The ambiance at the Rosapetra Spa Resort is one of intimacy and comfort, mingled with the exhilaration of beholding outstanding views of the Dolomite mountain peaks from every vantage point.
Make the Most of your Stay
- To feel more ‘at home’ you can unpack your stuff and fill countless shelves and lockers in your room, so you can leave your luggage at a special place in reception and not stumble on it during your stay.
- Enjoy the Hatma Massage at the spa. It is a unique, and unforgettable, experience you wish was endless. If you want your spa visit to be in calm and peace, go there after 4PM, when kids are not allowed in the area.
- Take a moment and ‘fly away’ in the relaxation room with stunning view of the mountains, relaxing music and Himalayan salt making the air clean and clear from static electricity and helping to get maximum from your rest.
- Take your four legged friend with you and go for a long mountain walk, as pets are welcomed at the hotel.
