Upon arrival to Tenerife Island, we initially considered staying in a hotel. However, Jardin de la Paz extended an invitation to stay at their stunning villas. Although we had never indulged in such opulent accommodations before, we quickly realized this was the best choice for us.
Jardin de la Paz epitomizes an oasis of serenity and beauty on Tenerife. Nestled amid verdant subtropical terraced gardens, the resort affords breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, the Valley of Orotava, and Puerto de la Cruz.
Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a picturesque complex of 13 luxury villas. Our villa was centrally located with a private terrace overlooking the ocean. This two-storey haven boasted its own kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and a couple of bedrooms. Every villa is meticulously designed to surpass guests' expectations, and we were certainly no exception to this delightful experience!
The resort also offers villas that accommodate 6 people, large families with children, couples, average-sized families or honeymooners. We were given a tour of a honeymoon suite which was nothing short of fantastic. It's hard to imagine a more romantic setting for a honeymoon—the sunset views from our terrace were enchanting.
The villas are well-equipped with all the essential kitchen accessories. If cooking isn't on your agenda, the option of having breakfast on the property is available. The "Vista Paraiso" Pavilion serves an exclusive and hearty breakfast, with panoramic views of the ocean and coastline enhancing the dining experience.
The expansive breakfast buffet features homegrown fruit, fresh orange juice in winter, year-round bananas, freshly harvested figs in summer, and exquisite homemade jams crafted from local fruits. Once a week, Jardin de la Paz hosts a special breakfast showcasing local products in a historic ambiance.
Situated on the northern part of the island, the villas provide a spectacular view of the Teide volcano. This area boasts a greener landscape compared to the south, beckoning guests to explore its splendor. The resort facilitates all-season hiking tours, water sports, and golfing, set against the island's awe-inspiring landscape. Whether it's the rugged coastline, lush pine woods, splendid mountain scenery, or the welcoming beaches, there's a slice of nature for everyone.
The most convenient way to reach the villas is by car. Although there are several restaurants in close proximity, having a car significantly eases mobility. The villas are also a stone's throw away from the renowned Loro Parque, hailed as the best zoo in Europe, making for a delightful day excursion.
With the myriad of experiences offered by both the resort and the island, a dull moment is a rarity! A heartfelt thank you to the Jardin de la Paz team for rendering our stay unforgettable.
