About Me

Travel, travel, travel… a wise person once told me that. Travelling forces us to see things differently, to experience new things, and to learn about new cultures and languages. It enhances our perspective of the world and broadens our horizons. The world is huge and there are so many things to see and do. Therefore, every year, I try to go back to a place where I have been before and to travel to a new spot I haven’t been to yet. So, I must confess that in the last four years I’ve travelled to Cuba four times.

I travel light and in comfort, with people I love and who also cherish sharing experiences. These experiences are always active and unforgettable but there are also some lazy days on the beach and parties in the evenings.

1. What is your favourite place on Earth?

I believe that every place on Earth is unique and special; each place I visit becomes my new favourite, so I always try to go back. At the moment, I am trying to go back to Rio to see the magical Carnival again.

2. Which hotel are you most happy to wake up in in the morning?

It has to be the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. This hotel has amazing views, a unique atmosphere and something that other hotels in the world don’t. But I never mind waking up on a boat somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea.

3. What has been best travel experience?

The best trip so far was when I booked tickets five days in advance to go to Bangkok and travelled around Asia for a month. I visited friends from college and uni in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Japan. During that month, I not only discovered a new part of the world, but also a new part of myself. I washed a baby elephant in Malaysia, drove through the Balinese mountains, saw water puppets in Hanoi, met real Geishas in the Kyoto Gardens, swam in the eternal Marina Bay Sands swimming pool in Singapore and did some shopping in Hong Kong.

4. What are the top 3 things on your travel bucket list?

Hike Machu Picchu in Peru, kitesurf in Belize and do a helicopter snowboard jump somewhere in the French Alps.

5. What is always in your travel bag?

A camera, sunscreen and lots of positive vibes.
