1. Go to one of the many coffee plantations on the island
Get to know this cute little place while trying the most expensive coffee in the world, Luwak.
2. Check out a surf spot in Uluwatu.
There are very beautiful landscapes there and if you arrive in the evening, then eat at a cafe on top of a high ledge. Here you can enjoy the sunset and watch how the real professionals surf. Uluwatu is considered one of the best surfing sites in Bali due to its good waves.
3. Take a walk in the rice fields and experience the sunrises and sunsets there.
There are a lot of rice fields around Ubud, but if you go to the north, visit the Jatiluvih Rice Terrace - these aren’t only fields where rice is cultivated, they’re actually a real work of art of magically reflective puddles, cascading on the Balinese hills.
4. Take a walk in the Monkey Forest in Ubud.
Despite the monkeys being pranksters, the atmosphere in the forest is serene, almost magical, with plenty of statues of gods and other works of art. The main thing to remember is to not carry anything in your hands and hold onto your bags closely - the local monkeys are not the most well-mannered.
5. Take a swim near the waterfall.
There are dozens of waterfalls in Bali and all of them are beautiful in their own way. Go under their powerful flow and listen to what these ancient shamans say. Ice cold water, that falls from the mountains, refreshes and gives an inner cleansing. The sensation after bathing in the waterfall feels as if you were born again.
6. Visit the Water Palace of Tirta Gangga.
The elegant palace of the last Raja of Karangasem Tirta Gangga is a real water complex with alleys, Balinese-style fountains, demonic sculptures, pools, and canals where golden carps swim. Walking around here is a pleasant, aesthetic experience.
7. Find your personal place of enjoyment in Bali.
Remember, your own. Feel it yourself. For some people it’s waterfalls, to someone else, it’s the Sacred Agung, and some find enjoyment in the Ubud Monkey Park.
8. Drink Balinese coconuts.
They are unbelievably healthy and are the most delicious of all the Asian coconuts.
When we were planning our vacation on the biggest island of the Canary archipelago, first of all we decided to explore the capital – Santa Cruz. We knew this place was not the most popular tourist destination, but we couldn’t miss the main city of Tenerife. And we didn’t regret it as we were lucky to stay at the legendary Iberostar Grand Mencey Hotel, where the King of Spain once celebrated his birthday.
Imagine having a private island in a luxury setting with only you and your staff that serves to make your stay perfect. This is how it feels when you arrive at Dusit Thani Maldives – an incredible green island with white sand beaches and a sparkling blue lagoon.
As a big fan of and frequent visitor to the Maldives, I’m often asked which accommodation is best when travelling to these sunny islands. On Angsana Velavaru, the choice is obvious – it has to be a water villa. Angsana’s second Maldivian property, which has a strong Asian feel, is most notable for its ‘InOcean’ water villas. Their uniqueness lies in their remoteness from the shore and absolute privacy – the stand-alone structures are situated a kilometre from the main island and are reachable only by boat across the lagoon.
Welcome to Leitlhof - by far one of the most eco and nature-friendly hotels in all of Dolomites. Located on top of the hill the hotel is perfectly located above the small town of San Candido, with an astonishing view of the Dolomite mountains right in front of you.

It’s no secret that the Seychelles are considered to be one of the most beautiful island groups in the world, with the most stunning scenic views. But do they really deserve the hype? The best way to find out is to check them out for yourself, which we did. After visiting a lot of other islands in the world like Hawaii, the Canary Islands and Mauritius, we were eager to compare them to this so-called paradise.
I fell in love with traveling much earlier than I fell in love with my first man. And I'm still faithful to that love (But I have exchanged some men since my first one). I have never had a reason to regret my passion. I constantly dream of going further, it gives me indescribable emotions and meaning to my life.
