Sankara Ubud: Where Body and Soul Live in Perfect Harmony

Sankara Ubud is a heavenly rainforest-shrouded sanctuary in Bali's spiritual capital, Ubud. We planned to visit just for a single day, but decided we had to return. The place is just perfect for enjoying some rest and relaxation and as a base for exploring Ubud.

Welcome to Sankara retreat

A delicious a-la-carte breakfast, a lazy afternoon nap by the private pool and a yoga session or two: this is a day at Sankara. On an expansive estate, surrounded by rice paddies and nestled among coconut palms and rare, tropical trees: Sankara’s atmosphere is deeply therapeutic. A feeling of peace emerges as soon as you arrive.

Sankara Retreat in Ubud

Visit the rooftop yoga pavilion in the morning and start your day with a spot of meditation. Then, pamper yourself with body scrubs and massages at the Radha Spa or take a slow swim in the infinity pool. You'll feel recharged and blissfully at peace.

There are plenty of adventurous outdoor activities available too. The resort can help arrange tours, treks and cycling trips through of Bali's stunning green, hilly countryside.

The bed is incredibly comfortable, and you can hear the gently soothing sound of water from the pool. You’ll find you want to stay in the villa all day.

I fell in love with traveling much earlier than I fell in love with my first man. And I'm still faithful to that love (But I have exchanged some men since my first one). I have never had a reason to regret my passion. I constantly dream of going further, it gives me indescribable emotions and meaning to my life.
