Hotel Giraffe: Get More in NYC
At the Hotel Giraffe you really get more than you expect in every way. First of all, the size of the rooms – they are huge in comparison to normal NYC standards.

Hotel Giraffe, a member of the Library Hotel Collection, also offers some really nice touches, such as a complimentary nightly wine-and-cheese reception in the spacious lobby with live piano music, and all-day coffee with snacks and pastries. A continental breakfast is also included. In NYC, where coffee shops are quite pricey, these are useful extras which help you save more money for shopping.

The atmosphere of the hotel is very laid-back. The hotel staff are friendly and smiley, and always ready to suggest the best burgers in town or the latest openings in the area. The location of the hotel (on the corner of Park Avenue and 26th Street), situated between mid-town Manhattan and downtown, is perfect for exploring the city. The Empire State Building is just a few blocks away, and 5th and 7th Avenue shopping is reachable on foot. Walking in the other direction, you will find Soho with its numerous bars and restaurants.

We loved our big spacious room with red-velvet armchairs, and French doors that open out onto the Juliet balcony, which has a great view of Park Avenue.

Be sure to take some time out to relax at the open-air Rooftop Garden bar, which becomes very lively at warmer times of the year when guests come to enjoy drinks here. This little garden is watched over by a big giraffe statue and is a great place to relax after a busy day in NYC.
Take me there!
