Philippe Starck himself, the famous French designer and architect, was behind the original design of this cosy place. 10 years later, the Yoo Design Studio created a brand new look for a new decade, building on the legacy of Starck’s original groundbreaking design project.

But the real magic starts when you enter your room. We indulged ourselves in a stylish and spacious 78 sq. ft. suite with a living, dining & working area, separate bedroom and small but fully-equipped kitchen. 

J Plus by Yoo has really big rooms, and by over-crowded Hong Kong standards they are enormous.

TVs, cookware, dining tables, an iron and ironing board, kitchen, air-conditioning, refrigerator, electric stove - all of this has one purpose: to make you feel at home.

Enjoying J Plus hotel

This place delivers even more than you would expect. Free wi-fi and breakfast? Free use of the fitness studio? Yes, of course. But also 24-hour coffee and juice, free wine in the evening, afternoon cakes, self-service laundry available to every guest and free local calls.

Handy smartphone

Another perk of saying at J Plus is free use of the HANDY smartphone device found in the room. These guys know that connectivity really matters these days.

Every guest at J Plus Yoo is provided with a smartphone device with limitless calls and internet. The hotel’s friendly staff explained how to use this phone as a wi-fi hotspot and we used it on our tablets during all of our city walks. This is a very, very convenient benefit that we didn't know about before our stay.

The hotel staff never stopped refilling every plate. It's a great time to try some local fruit or enjoy a freshly-baked pastry.
