Hotel Villa Jerez: Feels Like Owning a Luxury Villa
So, there we were, driving through the beautiful Costa del Sol region. Our last destination for the day was a small, cosy town named Jerez. Before the trip I’d never even heard of it but, the second we arrived, we instantly fell in love with the town's spirit. The best part was that we were staying at the absolutely amazing Hotel Villa Jerez - an exclusive, luxury villa, with only 18 guests rooms, in the finest area of Jerez.

The villa used to be a private family home. After the house was sold, it got redesigned and became one of the most unique hotels in the city.

The fact that it was a house makes all the difference. As we neared the hotel, we missed the main entrance gates since we thought it was a private villa. As you drive through the main gates, it reminds you of the classic movie scene in “The Great Gatsby”, when a retro car enters the luxury villa through huge gates and goes up the drive.

Walking down the hotel's halls is like walking through a nice apartment. Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether you are still in the hall or have already entered a room. This is how cosy and comfortable it feels there.

All rooms are equipped with a hydro massage bath and offer a whole world of comfort and well-being. Most of them have nice balconies or even terraces with a beautiful garden view.

And since the entire property was carefully redesigned, the privacy of the villa was maintained, which really makes it feel like home. The staff are really friendly and ready to assist you at any time. Every guest is known by name since the hotel is quite small, so everyone is like a family member.

If you are lucky enough to visit during summer time, you can enjoy beautiful walks through 4000m2 of carefully manicured gardens, with endless tangerine trees and flower beds, or just relax by the outdoor swimming pool. In general, every detail of the villa has been carefully thought through to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The lovely terrace can be used to order a cup of coffee or have breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast, we were quite surprised to have such a rich breakfast experience at a hotel this size.

Another benefit is the location, only a few paces from the Fair Grounds, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Arts and 500m from the city centre. It only took us around 10 to 15 minutes to reach the city centre on foot.

Overall, it was an incredible experience to feel like you own a luxury villa, rather than feeling like you're staying at a regular hotel. If you are travelling to Gibraltar, Seville, or the Caminito Del Ray trails, make sure to visit this wonderful city and stay at Hotel Villa Jerez.
