My Hotel Hartenfels: a Perfect Stay in the Tyrolean Alps for a Passionate Skier
This small, cosy hotel with bright, country-style rooms won our hearts immediately. With its comfy beds, delicious 4-course dinners and homely atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to rest after skiing in winter, or hiking and exploring the Alpine beauty in summer. Its location - 5 minutes by free shuttle bus from noisy, fashionable Lech Zurs in a picturesque little village called Zug - is another plus.
There is one thing about this hotel that few hotels can compete with – you can ski in and out, as Hotel Hartenfels is located just a few hundred metres from the ski lifts. You simply put on your ski boots and skis in the cloakroom at the hotel and head straight to the slopes!
This peaceful hotel overlooking the mountains features a traditional sauna, a spacious garden with a terrace, and a rustic restaurant serving hearty regional specialties accompanied by a large variety of wines and schnapps. Tasty dishes from the Arlberg region are served with immaculate attention to every detail. At breakfast, before heading to the slopes, you receive the new dinner menu for that day with the option to change anything you don’t like.
The hotel's interior is immaculate and always fresh as the hotel undergoes a refurbishment twice a year. You can feel that it is well looked after. Built 30 years ago, it has belonged to just one family, and the owner, Michael, still serves dinner, welcomes guests at the reception and is always on hand to give useful advice. You feel more like a guest at his home, not at a hotel.
The best features of Tenerife are its weather, nature and… great hotels. We were lucky to explore all three delights and we are happy to share our impressions with you. One of the true pearls of the island is the Iberostar Anthelia Hotel. The hotel with great ocean views is set on the cape in the upmarket area of Costa Adeje between the calm Fanabe and the fashionable Del Duque.
The end of the road. This is how easy it is to find The Cape Panwa Hotel. It's located on the furthest, most southeast point of the island in one of the most tranquil areas in Phuket. Nestled among the coconut groves and tropical gardens the hotel offers complete relaxation for its guests. It has two unique things: a 300m long private beach (that is very rare for hotels in Thailand); and it’s the only hotel I’ve ever known which has its own … tram!
Rūmene Manor, the country estate of Riga's 5* Hotel Bergs, is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered. Nestled not far from the capital, Rūmene Manor has a rich history stretching all the way back to 1876, and boasts a Neo-Renaissance style that historians agree is truly something special.
Santorini. The most picturesque and romantic island in the world. It has such a special atmosphere that you just forget about everything and are afraid to put down your camera for fear of missing a good shot. With multi-coloured cliffs soaring above a sea-drenched caldera and cute white Cycladic houses, Santorini looks like a giant slice of layered cake.
While visiting Paris I was lucky enough to stay at the gorgeous Balmoral Hotel, located in the very heart of this terrific city. Glorious surroundings and amazing French spirit of the Hotel makes it a perfect place for a special occasion - an anniversary celebration ora certain birthday party or a romantic getaway...
I fell in love with traveling much earlier than I fell in love with my first man. And I'm still faithful to that love (But I have exchanged some men since my first one). I have never had a reason to regret my passion. I constantly dream of going further, it gives me indescribable emotions and meaning to my life.
