This tiny (just 720-metre long) intimate luxury island is perfect for your best Jacques Cousteau impression. You can explore the Indian Ocean by snorkelling or diving. But our brightest experience was the feeding of the rays and sharks, which happens every evening.

We loved dining here. The food is some of the best in the Maldives so even tourists from other islands come to experience it. The main beach-side restaurant, 24 Degrees, is à la carte - you can enjoy your food on the beach choosing from an extensive Thai, Malaysian, Maldivian, or even Mediterranean menu. The second fine dining sea food restaurant, The Deep End, is built on stilts over the water with a view of the lagoon.

We definitely suggest you try the complete privacy of the Ocean Pavilion, 700m offshore, in the middle of the lagoon. It's known as the smallest restaurant in the world. Besides private dining, it can also be transformed into a wedding venue, couples’ spa treatment room or used for private snorkelling trips.
