Iberostar Anthelia: to Indulge in Canarian Spring All Year Round

The best features of Tenerife are its weather, nature and… great hotels. We were lucky to explore all three delights and we are happy to share our impressions with you. One of the true pearls of the island is the Iberostar Anthelia Hotel. The hotel with great ocean views is set on the cape in the upmarket area of Costa Adeje between the calm Fanabe and the fashionable Del Duque.

A privileged location of the hotel on the seafront allows you to enjoy a pleasant stroll along picturesque cliffs every day, and provides an easy access to the main shopping centre, bars and restaurants of this area.

Tenerife welcomes tourists all year round, but if you’re looking for a romantic escape, winter is the best time. You will find the same great weather with fewer tourists. In the mornings, we were lucky to enjoy our moments by the pool in absolute solitude.

If you are looking for exceptional privacy even during the busy summer period, in the Iberostar Anthelia it’s also possible. The VIP part of the hotel called “Salome” is the adult only area with the most exclusive service, a separate pool and entrance, a dining terrace and a private butler service. It is the true luxury.

When I entered the hotel for the first time I was astounded by its spaciousness. It has it all: a huge and light Italian style lobby hall with dancing fountains in the centre, large forged stairs and balconies and a cozy bar in the corner.

But the real treasure of the Iberostar Anthelia hotel is the garden as spacious and well groomed as the other features of the hotel. Among tropical trees and plants there are a great number of hidden places and corners just for two of you. The building of the hotel itself is also noteworthy. Stylish and colorful it was selected for the National Architecture Award in 1999.

Several times the hotel has been awarded for its style and décor and twice was selected as the “Best All-Inclusive Hotel in Spain” (2012 and 2013) by Travelers’ Choice Award.

When we arrived, the traditional Spanish Cava and fruits were waiting for us as a warm hotel welcome in our room.

In the hotel there are four restaurants

In the hotel there are four restaurants in total and all of them (it is unbelievable!) are exceptional.

The final accord of the day was a visit of the magical Thai Zen Spa with a new spa concept in Tenerife, where all the therapists are of Asian origin.
