Your First Perfect Time in Paris
Paris is definitely a must-visit place, and if you are about to travel to this amazing city for the first time I invite you to follow me. I'll guide you to the main treasures of this city. But watch out - once you come here, it will cast a spell over you and you will be looking forward to return again and again to this one of the most romantic cities in the world.

Recently I was very fortunate to get an invitation to stay at the luxury Balmoral Hotel in the very center of Paris. So whole weekend I was luxuriating in this gorgeous city. I started my exploration from the Arc de Triomphe and strolled down to the Champs-Élysées that led to another world-famous place - the Louvre.

You can see the Eiffel Tower almost from any place in Paris. Sometimes while wandering along the small charming streets of this fascinating city you will feel the need to see it – just raise your head and there it is. Majestic and gorgeous.

While visiting any of the famous tourist attractions you will inevitably run into lots of people selling all kind of kickshaws. Sometimes it can become really annoying, so better not to pay attention at them and avoid starting conversation.

If you really want to visit Louvre and see the world famous Mona Lisa, remember that probably you will be not the only one. I couldn’t manage to find the end of the line, not to mention standing in it. It really seemed like half of China was standing in the line to the Louvre so I just didn’t bother. Paris has to offer so much more - just reach out and take it.

Only in 10 minutes walk from the Louvre there is one of the most popular places in Paris – magnificent Notre-Dame de Paris (Notre-Dame Cathedral). It is definitely worth visiting along with the Pont de l'Archevêché (Archbishop's Bridge) nearby.

On the bridge there are literally thousands of love padlocks down all its length on both sides, which makes you feel the strong romantic milieu of this city.

I loved a view from the bridge.

Down the Seine River there are many small green boxes that sell different antique things like old books, postcards, magazines from the 60-s or Moulin Rouge posters from the beginning of the 20th century. They are just awesome so make sure not to miss them.

One of the most extravagant and strange buildings of Paris is called the Pompidou Center - the public information library and the largest museum for modern art in Europe.

The place is really different from the rest of the city and it will be quite entertaining to visit it so don't forget to add it to your list.

Another must visit place is the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris or Sacré-Cœur. It is located a little outside the center, even though I was able to reach it by foot. I recommend you to slow down walking through the district that surrounds it and enjoy the cute narrow streets with small cafes and shops where you can relish your cup of coffee with a macaroon.

There are souvenirs just everywhere. If you want to bring something back from Paris look no further. This is the place where you’ll get everything you need.

Make sure you pop into one of those famous candy stores where you can try and buy real French macaroons. They are truly delicious and worth trying. If you haven't tried them yet - Paris is the place to start.

But neither souvenirs nor even the Basilica itself is the reason to come here - it’s the view from it. Once you climb up - the whole Paris will be in front of you. The view is absolutely fabulous - 360 degree panorama for your observation.

I believe I could sit there all day long watching this marvelous city. And what will be your favorite place in Paris?
