My Turkish Vacations: The Art of Doing Nothing
I have to confess to something. I’m not adventurous. I’m rather lazy. While I am on vacation, I hate busy cities, queues to museums or waking up early to go on excursions... The best time for me on vacation is when I can do NOTHING. Just lie close to a pool or on the beach, eat lots of sweets (yes, I have to confess to this as well), enjoy slow dinners accompanied by an amazing view and a pleasant company or stay in a big luxurious bed all day long.

Now after I have confessed to it all, you will understand why I love Turkey. Their 5 star all inclusive hotels are paradise for me. Last time it was Maxx Royal Belek Golf and Spa – a 5* heaven on earth where you can get just everything you wish. It was recommended to me by my favourite travel agency Begonija.

My day began and ended near the pool. In between I had an amazing breakfast at their Maxx Royal Chocolatier where you could enjoy the most exclusive selection of 44 different kinds of chocolates, whereas each variety was created by bringing together all the delights of the world. I adored observing every stage of the chocolate making process thinking of how it would melt in my mouth… Sometimes I went to Patisserie Le Melange where they spoiled me with Häagen Dazs ice cream shaped into works of art by the Turkish best cake and patisserie chef, Ahmet Kir.

Sometimes I played gold at The Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Course designed by the famous golfer Colin Montgomerie, but most often I chose to disappear in their Aven Royal Spa…

And at night I really enjoyed their first class dancing shows and other entertainment.

Now I’m back – recharged and full of energy and even more sophisticated in my art … of doing nothing.
