Dubai: the city to enjoy life
Amazing, energizing and super-modern – that is Dubai. There is only one reason to come here – to enjoy life to its fullest. From super luxurious hotels to posh night clubs – this city will impress you. As it impressed me.

A view from the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa (828 meters, 160 flours and 4,6 million to build it).

It’s almost impossible to take a picture of the whole building. Its top swings back and forth up to 6 meters.

Looking at the city it’s difficult to imagine that just 50 years ago it was just a pearl producing village that now has turned in to all these super modern skyscrapers and shopping centers.

No one can accuse Dubai of thinking small. Dubai Mall is one of the biggest shopping centers in the world. Its size is equal to 50 football fields. It is equipped with a huge aquarium, 1200 shops and an ice-ring. The fountain show in front of it is impressive too.

The seaside area Jumeirah is for those who are up to a beach holiday in Dubai. Here you can find all the Arab dolce vita components – luxurious villas and hotels, art galleries, boutiques and beautiful parks. This is where the famous 7 star hotel Burj al Arab is located. But my choice was the Atlantis hotel located on the artificial island The Palm nearby Jumeirah. Underwater villas with glass walls facing 33 000 aquarium inhabitants are just amazing here! Unfortunately I haven’t met one of the frequent hotel guest George Clooney, but the swim with dolphins made up for it. This is definitely a thing to do while in Dubai even if you are not staying at Atlantis you should come here to do it!

Night life is amazing in Dubai. I would suggest to start your night with sushi at the Buddha Bar in the Grosvenor House hotel (the best of the Buddha bars in my opinion)...
... then have a drink at the Armani bar in Burj Khalifa, and then to party in style at Cavalli club at the Fairmont hotel, where you can easily meet Roberto Cavalli himself and many other celebrities. Just be sure you dress properly as the dress code is very strict there.

We were partying so hard, that we went to the airport still wearing heels and cocktail dresses…
