Dusit Thani Maldives – a Remote Paradise
Imagine having a private island in a luxury setting with only you and your staff that serves to make your stay perfect. This is how it feels when you arrive at Dusit Thani Maldives – an incredible green island with white sand beaches and a sparkling blue lagoon. The Thai hospitality completes this little paradise.

This resort is perfect in every possible way. It’s surrounded by a house reef, which makes diving and snorkeling very enjoyable, especially if you consider that Baa atoll is widely known for its amazing diversity of underwater life.

Here I’ve had the best breakfast of my life – the diversity of choice was just unforgettable. Their signature Thai restaurant Bengarong is worth mentioning too. Even guests from other islands come here to enjoy the royal Thai cuisine. Also, having a private barbeque dinner with your own chef sounds like a really good idea too.

The poolside bar Sand Bar is a magical place. You see the most amazing Maldivian sunset over the horizon reflecting in the biggest Infinity pool in Maldives. Of course with live music and a glass of good wine.

Sometimes guests are entertained by a local band playing traditional Maldivian music.

The butler service is especially good here. Our butler was looking after us, making sure that all of our wishes come true on time.

The island is so green that I loved getting lost in the tropical jungle on my way back from the restaurant or SPA.

Swimming in the biggest infinity pool in Maldives overlooking the Indian Ocean is a real pleasure.
The only way to get to the island is a 45 minute flight with a seaplane from Male. In this video the sea plane is landing near Dusit Thani to pick up the guests whose holiday is over (it was me!) and to bring those who are excited to start their journey in paradise.
