The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni
Luxury on Lake Como

In a setting as beautiful as Lake Como, we felt it was important to choose a hotel that fit with the overall aesthetic. As one of the oldest and most elegant hotels in the area, the 5-star Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni ticked all the boxes for us!

What amazed us most?
The views. It had to be the views. Villa Serbelloni affords you a panorama that will stay with you for a lifetime. Gazing out at where the blue water meets the green mountains will, quite simply, take your breath away.
Why should you come here?
To enjoy world-class cuisine at the amazing Mistral restaurant, where Michelin-starred chef, Ettore Bocchia, will surprise and delight you with his delectable creations. To walk in the stunning lakeside gardens and take in the splendour of the views all around you.

The most special
thing about the hotel
Knowing that you’re walking the same ground that Winston Churchill, Roosevelt, the Rothschilds, J.F. Kennedy, Clark Gable, Robert Mitchum and Al Pacino – to name but a few! - have all walked is an amazing feeling in itself.
The interior of the hotel is truly fit for royalty - crystal chandeliers, Imperial furniture, neo-classical and Art Nouveau style... not forgetting the marble staircases, stucco work columns, and fine trompe l'oeil.

How to make
the most of your stay
Enjoy a relaxing poolside drink while indulging yourself at the Villa Serbelloni Spa. Or, if you’re feeling a little more active, take a motorboat trip to the historic gardens that line the lake. In springtime, the blossoming of the azaleas is not to be missed!
What else
is there to see and do?
The hotel has a variety of activities to suit everyone. Energetic guests can hit the gym and tennis courts, or take a mountain bike out onto the Bellagio promontory. If you have a little more time on your hands, you could even go for a shopping trip to one of the fashion capitals of the world – Milan.

How to
get here
The best way to get to the Serbelloni is to drive from Milan. It takes around three to four hours (depending on traffic) but the views along the way are well worth it!
